We are great friends, but is that all?
You're the one I can always call.
It seems like there's more
But what can "more" be?
Around you I can always be me.
You're the one who dries all my tears
No more sorrows for all to hear.
Is there more or can we just be
When I think there might be a "we"
I think I love you but don't want to leave
Let me ask you a question: "Do you love me?"
I don't want to loose what we already have
I don't want this friendship to be in the past
Are we just friends or are we in love
Or can we be all of the above?
How can this happen, we can't fall in love.
It's against all the rules and all our plans
For us to be together just holding hands.
